Pole Pole is a thoughtfully curated, fully furnished apartment for long-term stays, inspired by Swahili culture and the beauty of handmade living. Every piece in the space is unique, crafted by local artisans using materials sourced right here in Kenya.
The apartment features three spacious, en-suite bedrooms, a guest powder room, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Additionally, it includes a dedicated laundry room with a washing machine, making everyday living easy and comfortable.
For added flexibility, the apartment includes a DSQ (Domestic Staff Quarters), a private, self-contained space that can be used for live-in help, a guest room, a home office, or extra storage.
You’ll also enjoy access to shared amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, and 24/7 security.
Tucked among trees, with birdsong in the air and the gentle sound of a stream nearby, this is a place of calm and comfort. A space to breathe, to feel at home, and to live slowly.

Our Story

Pole Pole was born from a love for thoughtful design and a deep respect for local craftsmanship.
We wanted to create more than just a place to stay. We dreamed of a home that feels grounded, where every item tells a story, and every detail is made with care. Inspired by the Swahili way of life, pole pole, meaning slowly, gently, reminds us to pause, to appreciate, and to live with intention.
Each piece in the apartment has been carefully chosen or custom-made by skilled artisans across Kenya. From handwoven textiles to reclaimed wood furniture, we celebrate the beauty of imperfection, heritage, and the human touch.
Pole Pole is a space for rest, connection, and simplicity. A quiet retreat in nature, shaped by heart and hands.
